Was the photojournalist in the "Frontovaya Illyustraciya" ("The Front-line Illustration") newspaper during the Great Patriotic war (1941-1945). Photographed military operations in many places of military actions including the battle near Orel, the seizure of Berlin, signing of The German Instrument of Surrender, the Trial of the Major War Criminals, which tried 22 of the most important captured leaders of Nazi Germany.
Was actively contributing to the Soviet military press after the Great Patriotic war.
Was awarded by the Order of the Red Star, The Order of the Patriotic War of the 2nd class and different medals.
