Mikhail Trahman (1918-1976) was the prominent photographer and photojournalist.
Took a great interest in photography since school. Since the 1938 was the photojournalist in the "Uchitelskaya Gazeta" ("Teachers' Newspaper").
Was called up to the Red Army and took part in the The Winter War (between the Soviet Union and Finland, 1939-1940).
Published his first pictures in the Moscow newspapers in the late 1930th.
During the Great Patriotic war (1941-1945) was the photojournalist of the
"Sovinformbyuro" (Soviet Information Bureau), worked in "Krasnaya Zvezda" ("The Red Star") newspaper. Most famous are his military photographs from the partisans series.
Was working in the "Ogonek" ("Light") magazine and was the photojournalist on VDNKh after the war.
